OPSC OAS Syllabus 2022 PDF: Odisha Public
Services Commission (OPSC) is the highest exam conduct board it is conducted by the OPSC
Civil Services many candidates apply for this exam every year so here we

OPSC OAS exam
pattern:
OPSC is conducting an OAS exam every year
for thousands of applying for this post but few candidates could qualify for this
job. So here we gave OCS exam pattern for the upcoming OPSC OAS exam prelims
and main exam. Which will conduct in the expected month of august or September.
Aspirant candidates should go through the details OAS syllabus before starting
preparation. OAS exam will be held in three states 1st preliminary exam will
conduct for entering the main exam and if candidates will clear this exam will get a chance to seat in the main exam. Below we have given the detailed
syllabus of the OPSC Prelim exam and main Exam.

OAS Prelims syllabus: The OPSC Civil Service Preliminary Examination shall contain
two papers of objective type (Multiple choices questions) and each paper shall
be of two hours duration as follows

Paper-I: General Studies- 200 marks



Paper-II: General Studies- 200 marks



NB: General Studies Paper-II is qualifying in Nature and the
candidates have to secure a minimum of 33% to qualify.

1. Current events of national and international importance.



2. History of India and Indian National Movement.



3. Indian and World Geography – Physical, Social, Economic
Geography of India and the World.



4. Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political
System, Panchayat Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.



5. Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development,
Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.



6. General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity, and
Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization.



7. General Science.



Paper-II General Studies- 200 marks



1. Comprehension

6. Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of

Notes:



1. The OPSC Civil Service Preliminary examination is
only for qualifying for the main exam. The preliminary mark secured by the candidate is not qualified
for the Job it is selected 12 times for the candidate to sit in the main exam.



2. Candidates who have achieved the same mark at the cut-off
point in each category will be admitted even if they have exceeded 12 times in
the same amount.



3. In the preliminary examination, the candidate will be
awarded a mark for the correct response to each question The non-fourth mark given
to that question will be deducted to indicate the wrong response of each question, but no rebate will be deducted from the total score unless a response
is given for a question in the answer sheet.



4. There shall be four options in each question to be answered
and only one correct response shall be made to that.



5. More than one response answer to any question shall be
treated as wrong response and marks for such a wrong response shall be deducted
if one of the responses happened to be an incorrect response.



OAS Mains syllabus



OPSC OAS Main Exam Syllabus: OAS main exam consist of five compulsory paper and two optional paper, the optional paper will choose by candidates according to their choice. There is no bound to take optional papers against candidate choice. Candidates can select an optional paper on the application time.
