Berhampur University has announced a recruitment notification for the post of Project Assistant in the PG Department of History under the Mukhyamantri Research Innovation (MRI) project, funded by the Odisha Higher Education Council (OHEC), Government of Odisha. Project Details
The research project is titled "Women in Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries Painting of Odisha: Representation and Reflection", led by Dr. Sankarsan Malik, Assistant Professor-II in the Department of History at Berhampur University. The position is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension up to two years based on performance.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: MA in History with at least 55% marks.
Specialization: Strong knowledge of Medieval and Modern Odisha History is required.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female candidates as per government norms).
Salary and Job Type
Salary: ₹12,000 per month (as per MRI/OSHEC guidelines).
Job Type: Temporary (contract-based).
