Eligibility Criteria for OHPC GET Recruitment

1. Educational Qualification

  • GET (Electrical):

    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering (60% for UR, 50% for SC/ST/PWD).

    • GATE 2025 Paper: EE (Electrical Engineering).

  • GET (Civil):

    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (60% for UR, 50% for SC/ST/PWD).

    • GATE 2025 Paper: CE (Civil Engineering).

  • GET (Mechanical):

    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (60% for UR, 50% for SC/ST/PWD).

    • GATE 2025 Paper: ME (Mechanical Engineering).

  • GET (Instrumentation & Control):

    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control (60% for UR, 50% for SC/ST/PWD).

    • GATE 2025 Paper: IN (Instrumentation Engineering).

2. Age Limit (as of 01.05.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years

  • Maximum Age: 32 years

  • Age Relaxation:

    • SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

    • SC/ST/SEBC PWD candidates: 15 years

3. Language Requirement

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently.

  • Must have passed Odia as a subject in Middle School/HSC or equivalent.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting based on GATE 2025 score (Marks out of 100).

  • Document Verification (No Interview).

  • Final selection subject to medical fitness.

Salary & Benefits

  • Stipend during Training: ₹50,000 per month + Medical Allowance (₹200) + Remote Area Allowance (if applicable).

  • Post-Training:

    • Designation: Assistant Manager (E-3)

    • Pay Scale: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (as per Pay Matrix).
