Eligibility Criteria for TGT Posts

1. Educational Qualifications

For TGT (Social Science):

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in any two subjects:

  • History (mandatory) or Geography

  • Plus, one from Economics/Political Science

• B.Ed. from a recognized university (mandatory).

• CTET (Paper-II) qualification required.

For TGT (Hindi):

• Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi as a subject in all three years (minimum 50% marks).

• B.Ed. from a recognized university.

• CTET (Paper-II) qualification required.

2. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 65 years (as of 31/03/2025).

3. Desirable Skills

• Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English.

• Knowledge of Computer Applications (preferred).
