Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must carefully check the following eligibility conditions before applying.
Educational Qualification
You must have a Master's Degree in the exact concerned subject (e.g., Physics for PGT Physics) with at least 50% marks.
Important: Master's Degrees in any other subject will not be considered. Your specialization must exactly match the post you are applying for.
A B.Ed. degree is mandatory. However, if you have completed an integrated 4-year degree course, you are exempt from the B.Ed. requirement.
Age Limit
The maximum age for application is 62 years.
Retired teachers engaged as Guest Faculty will be disengaged upon attaining the age of 65.
EMRS PGT Salary and Remuneration
Selected candidates will be offered an attractive monthly salary as per OMTES guidelines:
₹35,000/- per month: For candidates with qualifications as per the official Recruitment Rules (RR) of NESTS.
₹31,000/- per month: For candidates without the qualification as per RR of NESTS.

Job Tenure: The engagement is purely temporary and ad-hoc, valid until 31st March 2026 or until regular teachers are appointed, whichever is earlier.
No Regularization: This engagement does not confer any right for the regularization of your service in the future.
