1. Warden
Number of Posts: 1
Gender: Female
Age Limit: 30 to 60 years (as on 31st January 2025)
Educational Qualification: BA or B.Sc degree
Monthly Salary: ₹ 21,175/-
Special Note: Retired female teachers up to 62 years are eligible. In-service OAV teachers can also apply for an additional honorarium.
2. Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper
Number of Posts: 1
Gender: Male
Age Limit: 21 to 32 years (as on 31st January 2025)
Educational Qualification: HSC (Class 12)
Monthly Salary: ₹ 7,500/-
3. Head Cook
Number of Posts: 1
Gender: Female
Age Limit: 30 to 40 years (as on 31st January 2025)
Educational Qualification: Prior cooking experience. Must be well-versed in using LPG.
Monthly Salary: ₹ 9,000/-
4. Assistant Cook
Number of Posts: 2
Gender: Female
Age Limit: 21 to 32 years (as on 31st January 2025)
Educational Qualification: Prior cooking experience. Must be familiar with using LPG.
Monthly Salary: ₹ 6,750/-
Important Notes on Eligibility:
Preference for Local Candidates: Priority will be given to candidates from Bhanjanagar block. If not available, candidates from other blocks in Ganjam district will be considered.
Special Case for Warden:
In-service OAV teachers can apply and will receive an honorarium of ₹ 3,000/- in addition to their salary but must reside in the hostel.
Retired female teachers up to 62 years of age, if physically and mentally sound, are also eligible.
Selection Process for OAV Bhanjanagar Jobs
The selection committee, headed by the Collector-cum-Chairman of OAVs, Ganjam, will use the following criteria:
Warden: Selection based on career marking percentage.
Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: Selection based on Matric (10th) marking percentage.
Head Cook & Assistant Cook: Selection based on experience and performance in the interview.
