 ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack has announced a walk-in interview for Young Professional-I and Agricultural Field Operator under the groundbreaking project EAP-469: “Exploring the carbon sequestration potential of silicate rocks and industrial by-products through enhanced weathering and their impact on crop productivity.”

Available Positions and Salary Details

Young Professional-I (YP-I) – 1 Position

Salary: ₹30,000 per month (consolidated)

Agricultural Field Operator (AFO) – 1 Position

Salary: ₹18,000 per month (consolidated)

These are temporary project-based jobs under ICAR-CRRI, valid until 2028 or project completion.

Eligibility Criteria for ICAR CRRI Recruitment 2026

For Young Professional-I (YP-I):

• Essential: B.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Soil Science, Agronomy, or Agricultural Microbiology.
  OR
  B.Sc. in Botany, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, or Chemistry.

• Desirable: Experience in soil, plant, water analysis, field experiments, and scientific report writing.

For Agricultural Field Operator (AFO):

• Essential: Matriculation with +2 Vocational in Agriculture OR Matriculation with 2 years of agricultural field experience in a recognized organization.

• Desirable: Certificate in farm machinery operation (Power tiller, Grass cutter, Seed driller, Thresher) from a recognized institute.

  YP-I: 21–45 years
  AFO: 18–50 years
  (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. rules)

• Selection based on interview and trade test (if required).
