A total of 14 vacancies is available, distributed across categories with reservations for women, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on January 13, 2026)
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 42 years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST/SEBC & Women: 5 years
PwD (40–50% disability): 10 years
SC/ST/SEBC PwD: 15 years (cumulative)
Ex-Servicemen: As per state norms
High Court Group-C/D employees: 5 years
Note: Only one relaxation benefit is applicable per candidate.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
English/Odia as an Honours subject (or equivalent).
Adequate knowledge of Computer Applications.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The selection process includes four stages:
Preliminary Exam (150 marks)
Duration: 2 hours
Type: Objective (MCQs)
Subjects: General English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude
Negative Marking: 0.5 marks per wrong answer
Qualifying Marks: 33% for SC/ST, 40% for others
Main Written Exam (300 marks)
Language Test (English & Odia): 100 marks (Qualifying)
Translation Paper: 100 marks (English ↔ Odia)
General Awareness/Reasoning: 100 marks
Computer Application Test (100 marks)
Theory & Skill Test (MS Office, Internet, Networking, etc.)
Qualifying Marks: 50%
Viva-Voce Test (40 marks)
Minimum 40% required to be included in the final merit list.
