Essential Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications for PGTs (Post Graduate Teachers)
Educational Qualification:
Two-year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. course of RIE, NCERT OR
Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject.

PGT (Hindi): Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level

TGT (English): English as a subject in all three years of Graduation
TGT (Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all three years of Graduation
TGT (Maths): Bachelor's Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics

Qualifications for Other Specialist Posts
Odia Teacher (Regional Language):
Graduation from recognized university in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks in the subject and aggregate
Odia must be an elective subject at Degree level
B.Ed. from recognized university is mandatory
Sports Coach:
Graduation with recognized Diploma in Physical Education or B.P.Ed.
Participation in State/National level games/sports will be given preference
Music & Dance Coach:
Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent
AND bachelor's degree in music/dance or equivalent from a recognized University
OR Diploma in Music/Dance
Experience in classical vocal music, classical and folk dance preferred

Counsellor:

Salary (As per KVS Rules)
The selected candidates will be hired on a contractual/part-time basis. Remuneration will be given as per KVS Rules for contractual teachers. Generally, for contractual teachers in KVS, the remuneration ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month depending on the post (PRT/TGT/PGT) and qualification.
Selection Process
Written Test (if required): If the number of candidates for a particular post is high, a written test will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.
