3. Eligibility Criteria
A. Age Limit (as on 01-01-2024):
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government norms for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), and others.
B. Educational Qualification:
For Grade B (DR) - General:
A minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) in Bachelor's degree OR
A Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR
A professional qualification like CA/CS/ICWA with a Bachelor's Degree.
For Grade B (DR) - DEPR:
A Master's Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance with a minimum of 55% marks.
For Grade B (DR) - DSIM:
A Master's Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics with 55% marks OR
Master's Degree in Mathematics with 55% marks and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects OR M.Stat. from ISI, Kolkata with 55% marks.

GEN/OBC/EWS: ₹850/-
SC/ST/PwBD: ₹100/-

5. Selection Process
The selection is a three-tiered process:
Phase I - Preliminary Exam: This is an online objective test that is screening in nature. Marks obtained here are not counted for the final merit list.
Phase II - Main Exam: This is an online exam consisting of both objective and descriptive papers. Only candidates who clear Phase I are eligible to appear for Phase II.
Interview: Candidates who clear Phase II are shortlisted for an interview. The final selection is based on the aggregate marks of Phase II (Paper I, II, and III) and the Interview.
6. Salary and Perks (Approximate CTC)
An RBI Grade B Officer is offered an attractive compensation package.
Basic Pay: ₹55,200/- per month (on the pay scale of ₹55,200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850(2)-86550-3300(4)-99750 (17 years)
Approximate Monthly Gross Emoluments: ₹1,16,914/- (at the start of the scale)
Approximate Annual CTC (Cost to Company): ₹16-18 Lakhs per annum.
