Eligibility Criteria & Pay Scale (7th CPC/ Odisha Revised Scale)

1. Professor (Pay Level-14: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200)

• Qualification: Ph.D. with First Class (60%) either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years (Teaching/Research/Industry), with at least 3 years as Associate Professor.

• Research Mandate: 6 publications in SCI/Scopus/UGC journals + 2 Ph.D. guided OR 10 publications. Must have a research score of 120.

2. Associate Professor (Pay Level-13A: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100)

• Qualification: Ph.D. with First Class (60%) either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

• Experience: Minimum 8 years, with at least 2 years post-Ph.D. experience.

• Research Mandate: Minimum 6 research publications in indexed journals with a research score of 75.

3. Assistant Professor (Pay Level 10: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400)

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech & M.E./M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class (60% in either degree).

• Age Limit: 21 to 38 years (Relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women; +10 years for PwD).
